Translation and localisation can be streamlined

By using online templates you can save time spent on localisation and translation of layout material, in part because the translator can see how much room the text takes up in the final layout.

If you have marketing material that needs to be localised into several different languages, it can prove an advantage to load them directly into Encode and let the translator work directly in the system. When you translate the different parts (headings, body text, illustration text, etc.) the translator can immediately see how the text appears in the final layout and can thus assess whether the text needs to be substantially changed.

The system ensures that the translator cannot make changes to the actual layout, typefaces and the like, but can enter the text in specially designated text fields, from which the text is then transferred to the layout. In this way the translator can gain an overview of all texts in a template and also view a layouted PDF with the text shown in the different text fields that have been used.

This also saves time in the finished illustration process, eliminating the risk of error as the text does not need to be re-entered in the layout.

Export to finished illustration

In the localisation process, it is often necessary to accept changes to the length of the texts, but with Encode this task can be substantially reduced. To achieve the perfect layout, it is possible to subsequently export the ad for finished illustration if you are not satisfied with the way the standard layout has handled the text.
